Happy Monday everyone!

And thanks again to Melissa for choosing me as BOTW!

I’m going to start off the week with this one:

When you first met FH, did you both hit it off immediately (like love at first sight) .. or did it take a few dates for you to warm up to one another?

I met FH on a resort in Cabo .. and while I thought he was cute, I really wasn’t a fan in the beginning. I remember thinking he was a jerk, because he came off as slightly arrogant and I always saw him talking to different girls all the time. I joke now that he was “the mayor of the RIU'. But one night he sat down next to my friend and I for dinner, and as we started talking I saw a different side of him. We spent a lot of time together on the resort after that .. but it wasn’t until we went back home and started emailing one another that I really got to know each other. We used to play the “5 question game' almost every day .. and we would take turns asking/answering each other’s questions. Sometimes they were just fun questions and sometimes they got more serious. But I think if it wasn’t for that silly game .. he probably wouldn’t have decided to come visit me in NY .. and we wouldn’t be here today!

He says he fell for me the first time we met, in the hallway outside our rooms lol

I met FH online but through an ex date (kinda of) lol

I dated this guy who is a friend of my family, FH is also friends with him. We both were making fun on one of his(the friend) picture he had on his myspace LOL.

I saw his default and made me want to check his page out, I friended him. We chatted a few times and then he accompnaying me to the supermarket.

At first, I was scared and had a HUGE fence up with him. He was:

1. Younger (I never dated anyone younger than me before and I wasn't sure if I could handle that)

2. He was very thin (compare to my ex bfs and I wasn't so nice in the waistline) I really though he could have done better than me (sad, I know LOL)

It took about 2 months of dating to realize I wanted him as my BF and I dont remember ever thinking he the one, it kind of just happened LOL

I met FH online, so our first date went really really well (lasted 4 hrs at a bar... lol) but I didnt want to get overly excited. He asked me out the next three consecutive Friday's, and then we began seeing each other during the week after work. Sometime that fourth week I asked him 'so what are we doing, are we friends w benefits, or exclusive' and he said we were exclusive. That made me happy!

I think about 6 weeks in I knew he was a great addition to my life and that we would be together long term.

Well we knew each other for a few years before we started dating (we met in college and were friends throughout school), so we hit it off right away and the rest just fell into place.

I met FH online. I remember thinking he was really cute but I wasn't looking for anything serious. My friend had forced me into online dating and I just wanted to have fun. I made FH wait a little over a month until I finally said yes to being a couple.

It definitely wasn't love at first sight. I was totally in dating mode when I met FH. We definitely had a connection right away on our first date.

FH & I met at our company holiday party at the SoHo Grand--everyone was very tipsy- we ended up spending the night together (nothing happened though!) ...then i left the next morning....the following Monday at work he came up to my desk and I nearly died lol- totally awkward, so it took some time talking over emails to actually hang out with him....

Fh and I met at a Party but I didn't remember him. He texted my friend and told her that I was beautiful. Then I saw him a few weeks later and we started talking and now we are getting married :)

me and FH just sort of 'knew!' we always joke b/c we never really did traditional 'dates' we just sort of met and that was it, it was like okay we're together forever now lol

I met FH 2 years prior to dating. My cousin introduced us and I didn't get that 'OMG he's soo cute' vibe. To me he was just another dude. anyway so 2 years later I start getting these random phonecalls from a secret admirer. It was FH. I didn't know what was about this guy that would randomly call me and I would talk to him for hours. I guess b/c I didn't know who he was I felt comfortable just talking to him.

Anyway when FH finally came out and told me who he was I was hesitant to be his girlfriend b/c he was younger than me. I never ever dated anyone younger than me. I made him wait 2 wks b/f I finally told him Yes. Almost 7 years later here we are planning our wedding!!

FH and I technically met like 4-5 years ago through a mutual friend. We were both dating other people at the time, and we both agree to not liking each other at all. He was loud and obnoxious and I couldn't stand to be around him.

2 years after that we ran into each other again at a mutual friends apartment warming dinner. I had my reservations about him and still thought he came off the same way, but then I saw him talking to my best friend and thought 'he cant be that bad if she's talking to him' so I went over and we talked for the rest of the night and surprisingly hit it off.

It's funny because no one thought we would date let alone come this far that now we're engaged. Opposites really do attract :p

For me it wasn't love at first sight especially since I didn't want to settle down. I thought there were no good men left on the planet but after spending time with him on our first date he had my heart attention and I knew I wanted to see him again. Looking back I would have never thought that he would be the man of my dreams.

We met at a bar and I was convinced you don't meet anyone serious at bars. When he asked for my number I said no.

His persistence paid off, after a few dates I was sold!

We definitely hit it off once we met, but I don't think either of us knew at the moment how much we hit it off.

When we met we were both on our 'relationship strike' I had my mind set on NO relationships for a while and I was having fun doing that and so was he LOL. We knew there was a click and kept hanging out, but fighted calling eachother bf/gf for a lllooonnnggg time, eventually we stopped fighting it (obvi)
I think I knew things were serious when he went on his first guys trip a few months after we met to Mexico and called me while I vaca. Cause I called my friend super excited saying 'OMG he just called me from Mexico to set up a date when he comes home' and he bought me a lil bracelet :) its the little things that make me smile

It wasn't love at first sight when we met in middle school. Right before we were going to hang out to re-meet each other with other middle school friends his best friend showed me a video. It was pretty dark but it was him making jokes and acting silly. I remembered him being really quiet so this video shocked me and it was right there that I knew I wanted to be with him.

I met FH on the sidewalk outside of a bar in Port Jeff. I was standing outside waiting for a friend and he said he was driving by and parked just to come talk to me! He walked up to me and introduced himself and told me he had to meet a friend but would come back! He did, and we spent the whole night talking. All of our friends left! He drove me home and then came back the next day, and the next day after that, and then again the next day!

It really was love at first sight!

We joke that we never really dated...we met and that was it!

FH and I met in college and in the beginning we totally did not get along!!!! We started talking to each other a little more and more and we started to click...we spent many late nights talking before going on our first date and the rest was history
