Good Morning Ladies!!!!

A very very special thanks to Lauren for naming me as BOTW! Its been a long time coming

Yesterday, with everyone dressed up in costumes got me thinking. There are so many characters people chose to be from the past, and me being a huge history buff, lead me to this question.

Do you think, that if you and FH were both born in another place and time, you would still have found each other and ultimately wind together?

And if you had the power to go back in time, to any place and time that you would like to visit and marry and live with FH in that period, which would it be and why?

I think that if FH and were to have lived in another place and time, we may not have been so lucky as we are today. we met via the internet so if we went back in time, i believe we may have met each other as well, it just would have taken a few more twists and turns to wrap our arms around each other

And if I had to choose an era to go back to and live with FH, I would pick Renaissance Venice. It was such a lively, elaborate place to live and literally the center of the world in its time. It was ahead of its time in regards to fashion and inventions and lifestyle. I would love to be a part of that and experience how people interacted with each other. Of course, I would have FH dress up all the time in time for the Masquerade (right before Lent) so I could see him in sexy tights!

There are a million things that could have changed in our lives that would have led us to never finding each other. FMIL’s parents moved from England to West Virginia in 1970. Her parents were about to move to South Africa and at the last minute decided to move to the US. Also, FMIL and FFIL met in a bar in Chicago when FMIL was visiting with a friend (she lived in NY). He was the drummer in the band that was playing. There are so many ways they never would have met because they’re an interracial couple, and it was the 1970s, but they found each other and my FH was born They also moved from Woodside to Nassau County when FH was 5 and I don’t know if I ever would have found him had we not grown up together in the same schools. My FH was the “bad boy” with the mohawk in HS that all the girls swooned over (but you never wanted to bring home to your parents) but he only dated the “bad girls” – not homecoming queen types like me LOL. Anyway, we were great friends all through HS and we fell hard and fast for each other right after high school. The rest is history

I definitely think we would have ended up together. I knew some of FH family before I even knew him. It was like that 6 degrees of separation. So i definitely think even if we were in a different time I definitely think we would have ended up together.

And if you had the power to go back in time, to any place and time that you would like to visit and marry and live with FH in that period, which would it be and why?


Probably the 20's because I just love that time period and the clothing and such. It was a great time period

Hmm, I'd have to say I'd want to be born in the 30s. But I'd want to be rich in the 30s, not poor like my grandparents

hmm, if FH and I met at a different time, we probably wouldn't have met. My parents moved here from the PI and I came shortly afterwards. If they never moved, I would've never ever met my FH!

Probably the 70's - that relaxed mood that everybody was in was pretty cool. I'd def enjoy that! and i know fh would too

doubtful since our ancestors lived on different continents and I think back then the differences in age and social status would have prevented that. FH and I also had a lot of strange coincidences and life choices that got us together. In a different time, we wouldn't have had those.

And if you had the power to go back in time, to any place and time that you would like to visit and marry and live with FH in that period, which would it be and why?

so many places an time I would have loved to see. i would have loved to see medieval scotland.

YAY! makes me feel so special!

i think its amazing how so many factors have intertwined to shapre our lives into what they are today.
My dad was born in Italy and moved to Argentina when he was a little boy since his whole extended family was moving there. My maternal grandparents were also bornin Italy and then migraed to Argentina where my mother was born years later.
My mom and dad met and then my dad migrated here to the US to make a better life for himself. He went back to marry my mom and brought her back to the US 6 months later. He decided at the last minute to move to the US because he was this close to moving to Australia instead.

Same with FH's family. They were born in Italy and moved here and had FH. If either of our families had made different choices, I don't know if I would have met FH at all in a different time and place.
