Thats awesome, congrats!!!

I feel like I didnt do so well last week so I'm skipping the scale this week. I promised myself I'll be really good with the gym and calorie counting this week though so I will weigh in next Mon. too

congrats on the loss!

I've lost 2.4 lbs this week! Not too bad for having not stepped foot in the gym all week and partying on Friday and Saturday!

I lost 5.3 lbs since last sunday. Cutting out the breads, and eating more fruits, veggies and protein has paid off!

seriously... Weight Watchers is the only thing guaranteed that works for me everytime. Try and fill up on the fruits and veggies and limit the amount of junk food you keep in the house because it will always tempt you. My favorite snacks to have in the house right now are my individual Skinny Cow Cookie & Cream ice cream cups (2 pts) and the 100 Cal Hostess Chocolate cupcake packs (1 pt). Try and just find health substitutes for the things you love. I can't live without my ice cream and I'm so happy these Skinny Cows are so good!

And try and get as much exercise in as you can, anyway you can. Like instead of taking the bus to the train, I walk instead. I try to go for a walk on my hour lunch break and then eat my lunch at my desk when I get back. I also have this vertical thigh trainer thing (which is basically a mini step machine) that I do while I watch TV and i could be on that thing for like 30 mins before I even realize.

it definitely takes some getting used to but trust me after being on it for a while, you are just going to know the point system like the back of your hand.

i ahve to take my books out again and try it. I was doing it without hte books last week (looking everything up online..) and maybe it'd help if i bought the books out lol
i loved when I did Nutrisystem, there was no guess work, and i kept that weight off for a while and still haven't gained it all back (thank god) but it was expensive... so i figured WW would be 'cheaper' for me. I might have to consider going to the meetings and stuff though instead of totally doing it on my own.

honestly I hardly use the books. The greatest thing I ever purchased and carry with me ALL the time when I am on WW is my WW calculator (they sell it at meetings and online but I got it on Ebay for like 5 bucks and it hasn't failed me). You can calculate the points and keep track of how many you have left for the day as well.

Along with doing that, I write down EVERYTHING that I eat and for the most part, I wake up in the morning and while i drink my coffee, I plan out my meals for the day so that way I know exactly what I am going to be eating and I don't stray.

SO I quit smoking for about a month now. I def. started gaining but am feeling better even though I still want a cigerette...it is getting easier though. So I'm ready to start getting serious with my weight loss. especially since my fiance is not doing that well with food too and I think if I start he will follow...Starting today, next week I will be ready to weigh in...WISH me LUCK!!!

WW is the only method for me as well.

I must say if you sign up for etools or the monthly pass, you get access to the website and recipe builder. I build all my healthy recipes and divide by the portions. BEST. THING. EVER!
