Monday Weigh In
UGH. gained all 4 lbs back...but I know why. I drank Friday, and ate like a beast Sat and Sun annnnnnd did not work out. BOO! Just shows how important eating right and working out really is!! So I'm a whopping 133.6 again. BLAH!
I bought a book called 'the runners diet' and it is soooooo inspiring and motivating. Here is a little blurb:
Here's another scary fact: It takes only 100 extra calories a day to gain 10 lbs in a year. That's one high calorie prerun snack that you don't need. Or one sports drink before a 30 minute walk. And that's not even counting the postrun doughnut or prerun chips. In The Runner's Diet, I want you to understand not only what foods to eat and in what poroportion, but also what foods will maximize your performance without sabotage your diet. When you learn to pay attention to your changing energy needs and take an honest look at the calories you consume and expend, you'll be on your way to lifelong weight control. As you look at your eating habits, you'l laslo be evaluating your running patterns by deciding things like realistic mileage and a weekly scedule. Structure equals sucess, and regularity is key to long term weight regulation.
Every Monday, I will post something from the book, it is so insightful and it really breaks down what you should do to jumpstart a healthy lifestyle. It has a bunch of quizzes I'll post and some heartfelt true stories.
Let's do this girls!! Goodluck!
