We are going to have our own personal accounts and one joint. Certain percentages will go in each that was its fair. The majority will go in the joint, and a small portion in our own accounts
Right now we both have our separate accounts but also have a joint one.
We already have a joint account which will be come our main account once we get married, right now it's just wedding related. We still plan to keep our seperate accounts, but most of our money will go into our joint account.
we currently have seperate accounts and one joint. We haven't decided yet if we are going to close our seperate or not. Only reason why we wouldn't is b/c he prefers to leave very little in the way of cash in his checking and I prefer to have more b/c I don't like to carry cash and instead use my debit for everything. So since we have different approches we may leave our separate accounts open for daily spending purchases and keep the joint for bills (ie mortgage and utilties) which is what we do now.
