Money, money, money!

I just spent $580 on 4 new tires and new brake pads. I planned like $300 for the tires but they were more expensive than I thought and then while they were doing the tires, they discovered that my break pads were awfully low. ARGGH! Hopefully I will find the perfect dress tomorrow and it will be all better. Just had to vent!

I feel your pain. Unfortunately, that is the way of life.

Thank you! I can't wait. Of course, I picked the worse day to drive into the city as there is some big street fair going on and parking will be the worst, but that's how it goes I guess.

I know what you mean! I just had an insection and an oil change and it was over $60, I can't stand it! We don't have this extra $$ laying around!!! FI's truck has a leak in his radiater that we're ignoring. I hate car maintenance, and let's not even get started on the price of gas.....

Vent away please ...I hate having to spend money on my car .....HATE IT HATE IT .....Like most of us I want to spend money on things that I want to spend money on like our wedding

For those of you that didn't see my other thread. I DID find my dress as well as a tiara and veil. So that made it all better.

I completely feel your pain... Sometimes I hate cars. We spend so much on them in the first place.. all services should be free.... lol

My FH saved a little bit on the side to buy new tires and when he went to get them put on, I figured I'd get the oil changed on my car... yeah well I took the guy outside to show him the car, and to explain a weird noise I've been hearing...

So after 15 mins of chatting, my $30 oil change escalated to over $500 and I also needed new tires (he showed me how the tire was bald (from improper alignment).

At the end of the day I spent close to $1100...
STUPID CAR!!!
