Money Savers

What are some things you plan on doing to keep the costs down?


1) Only getting 2 limos: One truck that will go pick up the guys then come back for the girls to take them to ceremony, this same truck will get everyone to the reception, the other will be a car like a Rolls that will take me and parents to ceremony, and then just me and FH to Reception

2) Using the same company for limos, photo, video ..... getting a package deal

3) DIY Invites, Menu Cards, and Programs

4) May get a friend to do my hair and make up as a wedding gift

well i think that im goint to get a 1 big limo

Ill have a horse and carriage to take me ( mom is paying for that)

Also my invitation my photo place gives big discounts there so im going to be using them

-no flower cp's (although i would love to have them)

-DIY invites

-possibly doing my own albums on shutterfly or something, not sure yet though.

-getting married in off peak season on a sunday

Making our own invitations
Getting FSIL to do my hair (she worked for pilo for years)

Forgot that I'm having it on an off day,

Any I may not be doing flower CP's either. If I do it may just be rosepetals with candles.

I may have it on a Thursday to cut some costs but I'm not entirely sure yet.

Most likely going to make CPs and bouquets myself.

-No limos (we're getting married at the hall and I am going to get ready there).

-DIY programs, STD's, Menus, etc.

-We were going to do DIY invitations but found one's online that would be cheaper then ordering all the supplies.

1) friday evening wedding

2) a smaller condensed guest list

3) possible diy invites, menus, programs all of that stuff

and i havent thought of any more yet since we havent really begun to plan in depth.. but i would love to save money as many ways as possible

I may do silk flowers for my cp's

FH has a friend that is DJing for us for real cheap! He's really good too!!

i think i'm going to get 2 limos...

DYI projects - invitations, place cards, maybe my CPS, programs, favors for guests to take home...

we haven't planned anything out besides booking the reception hall...and we didn't save at all on that price but hopefully we'll save on a few other things once we start looking into prices.

We are thinking of saving money by not doing:

1. Limos (since the venue allows us to arrive early and get dress; we don't need the limos because we can drive ourselves

2. DIY Projects (invites, wedding programs, favors, menu, placecards)

3. DJ (my cousin's friend might provide music)
