Re: Mongolian BBQ
There are a few big delis in downtown manhattan that have that one being
Variety Cafe 65 Broadway New York, NY 10048
It's actually really good and their ingredients are fresh and they cook it with no oil so it's pretty healthy. I think the grill is only open during lunch hours though and even though it's a huge space with seating, it's not like a nice sit down restaurant if you're looking for that.

ahhhh, it looks pretty similar to what i'm talking about.
looks like they don't give you as many spices/sauces to pick from but essentially its the same.
how far away is that from long island?
sorry i'm not an LI native.

do you get to pick your own sauces/spices?
I don't know which post you're responding to but if you're responding to the variety cafe one, yes you pick everything!
lol, maybe I'll go over today and take pictures of the spread and upload it for you.

Re: Mongolian BBQ
Okay, felt super shady but mission accomplished!
The spread
Your beloved water chestnuts
The 'before'
The 'during'
The 'after'
Like everything in NY, it's overpriced (mine came out to like $11) but so good and healthy!
eta: like I said, the station only seems to be open during peak lunch hours, you might want to call and ask if you're even considering it. Like everything in financial district, it's probably not open on weekends.
My friend mentioned Pergola on 39th too.
