Monogram

I am getting something monogramed for FMIL.

Just wondering the correct order:

Her first name is J
Uses her maiden name as her middle name: O
and last name is V

Would it be JOV or JVO?

Are you having the middle letter bigger than the other two letters? I think if the middle letter is bigger, that letter is supposed to be for her last name. But if not, you can just do her initials in the order of first, middle, last.

Thanks for the replies.

I just read an article that says apparently the 3 letter monogram is traditionally used for men or married couples, never knew that...

We are just doing Mother of the Groom instead.
