Monogram cake topper

I am looking into ordering a monogram cake topper for our wedding cake, but I'm not sure what size I should get. I only want one letter (last name initial) but I'm not sure if I should order a 5' letter or a 6' letter. The prices are about the same for each - I'm just not sure if the 6' letter will look too big. For girls who are using a monogram letter as their cake topper, what size are you using? Thanks!! :)

Ours was 5'. Plenty big enough - esp since you are only doing the 1 letter. See my pic.

I had originally bought another before this one on a site I dont recall the name of- I think it was something like cake coture (something-or-other). Anyway when I got it I wasnt that crazy about it as I thought I would be. So I found the topper you see in the pic from a seller on Ebay. It's considered a 'vintage lettering'
