I really want to start my DIY monogram cake topper, but I haven't picked out my cake yet so I'm not sure what size would look best. I was thinking a 5' would be safe... do you think it makes a difference? What size did you use?

I am using a 6 inch.. but you are 'safe' with a 5 inch!

Where is everyone getting their monograms for if your doing it for your cake topper. Are you doing just the inital of the last name or first also?

I got a 7' for the middle and 4' for the sides
When I go to pick my cake out, I am just going to make sure it works with the topper.
