Monogram Cookie Favor Samples - with pictures!

I had mentioned to my Mom a while ago about these cute monogram cookie favors and she thought it would be cute to do as bridal shower favors. A past bride had done that and I loved it. So we ordered them last week and got the samples on Friday. They are sugar cookies with white icing and pink writing. I am having a very non-traditional shower. It is not a surprise and I am helping with some of the ideas. I like it that way

I had checked out some LI bakers and they were so expensive. They wanted $4 or $5 per cookie. So I checked ebay and found a pastry chef who makes exactly what I wanted. She also makes cute cookie bouquets to send to people. So I got 4 samples in the mail to pick from. We are going with something similar to the first one. I love the white sugar crystals! Oh and best part - they are only $1.50 each and come wrapped with a bow of your color choice.

Oh great idea. Yeah I am also going to use her for the RD favors. I was going to give out chocolates but I think cookies are cuter. I am going to get Brian the Yankee Stadium grooms cake so I am giving baseball cookies as favors. I only have 15 people so I figured...why not...lol.

ooooooooooh cute idea! i was gonna do shea for ray!!!! i loooooooooooooooooooooved those cookies....they're gorgeous!!!

Adorable- did you taste them yet?? I was thinking of doing Krispy Kreme favors for our rehearsal dinner but these might be a cute idea to do!

Will she send a sample cookie to taste?

ohh those look very similiar to the one's I gave as a sample to my baker. I still haven't decided if I'm going with the monogram or a large daisy.

Yay!!! So glad you posted these - they are gorgeous and I really like the idea of the baseball cookies as RD favors since they go so nicely with the cake. I mean...your guests are gonna love the cake when they see it - so unique - and then the cookies will be an added cutie!!!!

I stole from SearsC now DKWife the B&W monogrammed cookies-- putting them in my OOT-- I know they will be a big hit!
