Monogram help!!

So I think I am actually retarded because I keep folowing the directions I found on a website, but I cannot for the life of me get my monogram to look anything like I want it to. ANY help would be much appreciated. I am using Microsoft Word and all I'm looking to do is mine and FH's full names over our last name initial with our date underneath. I'm seriously about to scream. TIA!

do you have publisher? or illustrator? it is easy to do in those programs because you can move stuff around easier

Do you know of anyone that has the Microsoft 2007, I think, and you can put it on your computer. If you can not get some one, I can do a monogram for you. Just FM me. Did you want something like this?

You have to use a seperate text box for each initial. Then right click and press send to back. Make sure the transparency is 100%

Power Point is the easy to use if you have it. Publisher would work too.
