I have a friend that is a graphic artist. I sent her an e-mail asking her about computer programs where I can make a monogram easily. I don't have the patience to do it in PowerPoint. I don't know why! She seemed like she didn't know what I was talking about (I really just wanted her to do it for me without me having to ask. lol).
Is the monogram just the letters? What is it when you have your full names and dates? Is that a logo?

A Monogram is 'really' just initials, so if you use whole names and dates, it's a logo. Why don' t you show her some examples from this site, and she'll get what you mean . . .

is a monogram when its your initial + your FH + your married surname initial inter-twinned?and a logo is anything you want ??

I think anything that's not JUST initials is really a logo, because monograms are literally initials only. I still call my avatar my 'monogram' but for a graphic designer, they might need a more literal use of the term. Why no PowerPoint? It's really easy, it takes like 5 minutes to get one done, and you can play with that file again and again and again, making it names, initials, adding clipart, backgrounds, changing colors, etc.
It's fun, give it a try, you can definitely do it and I'm the queen of having very little patience.

Yeah, I'll have to play around on powerpoint. I only have it on my laptop and I find it annoying to use. Maybe I'll be bored tonight and give it a shot. thanks!

I want one of these too with our names and then the initial in the middle with our date. I am clueless with these things though..and I dont have power point on my computer. I think I heard you can use photo shop? no?? I could def be mistaken on that though. If you figure it out though let me know hehe be maybe Ill give it a try !
