Monogrammed Shoes

Monogrammed Shoes

the other day I decided I was going to dye my shoes a light blue (same color as BM's dresses). I had also seen in a magazine a pair of shoes that had the couples initials in rhinestones on them.

My first initial is L and FH's is R.

is this going to look stupid since i'll have a L on my left foot and an R on my right foot?

lol thats really funny. I like the idea but I would put the L on the left foor and the R on the right foot. I have always seen both initails together like this: L + R
and sometimes it has a heart around it.

I saw the same and will be adding them myself. I think it was like 80 dollars to get it done professionally, but I could be remembering incorrectly.

I did it myself. I bought swaroski crystals from ejoyce.com and glued them on myself. Let me see if I can find a picture.....

for the ladies who did personalized their own shoes

did you trace an image and then follow it or did you put all the glue down 1st and then put the crystals on it

I played around on the computer until I was finally able to print the size I wanted, to use as a template. I used tracing paper to trace the printouts with pencil. Then on the back side of the tracing paper, I went over the lines with pencil. Then I placed the tracing paper on the shoes where I wanted the pencil mark to be, and traced over the lines again which made the pencil on the back side of the paper transfer to the shoe. That gave me an outline to glue the rhinestones on to. Oh, and I didn't put that the glue down all at once. Hope that makes sense.
