I use combo fonts in monograms when i dislike a particular letter. I will use the majority of one font that i love and pick out the letter and find the 'i' i truly like from a font simular but yet i can read and understand. Do this all the time with logo design at work.

The only problem it pisses of people when the sit down and try to replicate it again. I make their job harder trying to match the letter!!! HAHAHHA EVIL JENN
