I would love to post my pictures...just have to figure out how to use my damn scanner!!! I'm so un-technologically advanced. The pics came out great: the vines were full and green, the sun was shining, the sky was blue!

I'd love to see them too!

Also, random question: Did you happen to be at Wolffer preparing at all during early June? I was wondering how full/green the vines and flowers there are at that time. (We pretty much plan to stick to our date, but someone mentioned it's likely to be greener later in the month...)

Re: Montauk/Hampton Wedding Locations

try Rapeals, Pelligrini, or Palmar.

Rapheals has a catering facility on site so you don't have to hire one...

Also Vineyard Catering is a wedding hall with beautiful outside deck, it is not a vineyard but it is attached to a vineayard. Very pretty..
I also wanted a less typical wedding so i looked at vineyards. After reasearch i realized how expensive they woould be. That is what lead me to the vineyard catering and my hall the vanderbilt mansion.. You should check that out too!
good luck

Re: Montauk/Hampton Wedding Locations

The vines are green and quite full in June at Wolffer.
For the reception, tables were on the patio; the band, dancing, and a bar were inside the tasting room. :)

The lobby area in the montauk manor is beautiful..where do they have events? I think that the lobby would be a beautiful location for a cocktail hour.

I looked into Montauk Manor, it is beautiful and the view is gorgeous. I would have loved to have my wedding there but I didn't want to do a tent and that is the only way you can have your wedding there. It is so nice and the people who work there were really nice. I am having my reception at East Hampton point if you have any questions, I think they may do tents. Also looked briefly into some of the vineyards but some of them have huge fees.

Re: Montauk/Hampton Wedding Locations

Thats sounds great. Does Wolffer cater the event or do you have to get an outside vendor?

Re: Montauk/Hampton Wedding Locations

Wolffer has a short list of caterers that they deal with (you have to choose from one of their preferred vendors). We used food and company (they were GREAT). Robbins Wolfe & janet o'brien are very good too. The caterers have all done various events at wolffer, so you know that they know the venue, where to set up, how to set up, etc.

Re: Montauk/Hampton Wedding Locations

The catering included food, bar mixers and beer, as well as pay for all of the staffing (bartenders, barbacks, waiters/waitresses, cleaning staff, etc.)...and I'm trying to remember what it came out to. I think it was about $100 per person, for passed hors d'oeuvres and a buffet. (My guest list was about 100, a little less). That doesn't include the wine (you must drink Wolffer only! :). I don't exactly know what the wine bill came to... I think it was around 1800. Enjoy your visit to Wolffer! The vines will obviously be bare, but imagine them green and full and imagine all the full hydrangea bushes that surround the patio! Beautiful in the summer and fall!!!

Re: Montauk/Hampton Wedding Locations

Hi there,
Thanks for the advice. Which Moose lodge did you use?
