Monthly cycle

I am posting this becuz a lot of you gals dont know if you will get gettng ur period on your wedding..which will suck if you do!!!!! go to mymonthlycycle.com then go down to site map and search for 'All calculators' and then Menstrual Planning Calculator...and it will calculate whether you will get ur period on a predicted day!!

Re: Monthly cycle

I've used that site for a few years however after getting off BC over a year ago, my cycle isn't always the same i.e. a few times I was a few days late or 4 days early one month. That's why I'm getting back on BC next week to change my cycle so it doesn't come around the wedding.

Re: Monthly cycle

Oh yea..it will only work if your cycle is regular...mine is always on time..maybe a day or two later..so it works well for me. In any case, good luck to you al lthen

Re: Monthly cycle

Mine was a perfect 28 day cycle till I got on BC now it's usually 30 days but sometimes longer or shorter. I hate it! I don't know if getting older has something to do with it either or what.

I used one of those calculators before I booked our reception! Mine ends the day before our wedding!

Poor FH is going to have to deal with some serious PMS before

Re: Monthly cycle

wish I knew about this website before....I had already sat there and mapped out every 28 days for the next year

But at least I know that mine will be done 2 days before my wedding!!! which means the 2 weeks leading into it i will be hell on wheels to deal with!!!

Re: Monthly cycle

It's a nice theory, but there's pretty much no way it can be completely accurate. If you're not on bc, there are a lot of factors that can affect your period that can't be predicted - stress, illness, diet, etc can all make your period come later, even if you are usually pretty regular.

I mean, by all means, look it up anyway! I'm just saying, don't take it as gospel and get really upset if it's bad news, you know?

good point....I've been on BC for about 7 years....if I wasn't, I'd be getting it every 3 months instead of 28 days...my cycle has always been screwed up.

Re: Monthly cycle

If you skip the sugar pills on BC wont that prevent you from getting your friend? I hope that actually works cuz thats what i was planning on rather than mapping it out

Oh you are absolutely right! But when I entered in the information and saw when my 'predicted period date' would be...I booked my wedding in which my period would be about a week after the wedding date and about a week or so before the wedding..so that if it is a few days early or late I will still be safe.

only if you have a constant dose of hormones. like orthotricyclen lo wouldn't work, but regular ortho tricyclen will.
