so far we've committed to:
cake song: ice cream-Sarah McLachlan
first reception song: beautiful day-U2

our first dance song is hard... considering moondance now, but also'maybe I'm amazed' by Paul McCartney

I would also like a john lennon song... but 'woman' would basically be only about me, so I think it's inappropriate....

anyone can think of another lennon song?

how bout Love by Lennon? It's a little slow, but the beginning w/ the piano gives me the chills every time I hear it, and it's so romantic!!!

I hope you use it, so I can live vicariously through you, since FH is not a Lennon fan or Beatles fan (since I'm a huge fan of both, I have no idea how we haven't killed each yet over this lol!!)

FH would never go for it... and I'd start to feel self-conscious dancing soooooo slooooooowly.... I just went on a website and listened to exerpts of almost every lennon song... didn't find anything

Morrison rocks! We're using 2 of his songs for ceremony...Ed Travers will be playing 'warm love' for BP processional and then Im walking down to 'crazy love.' So im a clear fan!

MAYBE IM AMAZED is also one of our top picks so far!!!!!
