More dress shopping w/PICS

So I continued dress shopping today. We had a rough morning but a much better afternoon. We went to paradise bridal first. When I walked in the woman just looked at me. I introduced myself and said I had an appointment. She looked in the book and said 'well we're very busy.' I looked at my friend and was like 'umm yeah, that's why I made an appointment.' She then huffs and puffs, and says well I guess I'll have to take you and walks away. My friend and I didn't know if we were suppose to follow and from about 25 feet away she waves at me like I'm stupid for not following her.
We pick out some dresses to try on and she puts me in the smallest room ever. She would not give me a slip so I could see what the dress would look like. She just fluffed it and told me to try and picture it bigger. She kept turning the lights off when I was at the mirror, which I HATED, and told her not to do it but she kept doing it. The poor other brides are in the dark trying to get changed, and she's putting them in the dark so I can see myself in the dark. NO THANKS. Finally my friend asked someone else for a slip and they gave it to her. She was annoyed I had the slip and would not help me put on the dresses. I was dying trying to get it over my head myself. It was the worst experience ever!!! It made me hate dress shopping.

We left paradise, had some lunch and went to bayshore bridal. MUCH NICER!!!! The girl was nice, quiet, not pushy, helped me put of the dresses, I had room to change, gave me different slips........much better experience. Here are the dresses I tried on from bayshore bridal. Two and Four are my favs.....

P.S. Don't mind the faces.....

Dress #1- bad pic but looked nice in person

Dress #2-a contender

Dress #3

Dress #4- my friends favorite- I love the top but don't know if it's too 'pick-upy'

In order: #1 and #2 (tie), #4, #3.

1) You look great in this one. Very Hollywood glamour.

2) This one outlines your figure well.

3) Probably my least favorite of the set. I like the beading, but there's something about the waist that doesn't sit quite right.

4) The top is very flattering. The pick ups look quite 'frothy.'

I love dress #1- it's simple and it's different... nowadays you see SO much strapless, so I like dresses that break away from that typical style. But it's almost TOO simple

I think #2 is more flattering on you in the pics. The strapless look works for you.

#2 looks alive on you. And...I too was at Paradise today. I remember seeing you. That place needs to be reported to the FTC for illegally ripping out manufacturer tags and then pretending they don't know the designer. By federal law, clothing labels must be sewn on and must contain the manufacturer, the country of origin, and the fiber content. Any place that says 'I don't know, but it looks like a Lazaro' is certainly practicing some shady and probably unethical business. Anyway, after seeing you, I know you will make a beautiful bride, regardless of which dress you select....but I'm still placing my vote for #2.

i also wasnt very impressed with paridise bridal (thats the one in farmingdale rihgt) ... anyeay i ovted for 2 thought i love number one also!!!! but i honeslty fel number 2 looks fantastic on you!!!

See all of the magazine pics I ripped out were with some sort of strap because I did want to be different than the norm...........but I do like some of the strapless on me.....

I think of dress shopping like my engagement ring. I want it to be different and unique, but not so much that it looks wierd. I still want it to be pretty....but just not super traditional and like everyone else....

I personally love #4, I didn't like the pick ups on it either when I tried it, but they make a version with a beautiful train ..I think it's Signature #1226 I almost bought it,..

#2!!!!!!! its so gorgeous, I think no.4 is a bit overdone... the top is gorgeous but I think w/the pick ups and all its just too much. You look beautiful in all of them!!

I voted for #2 yesterday...and just a few mins ago i called FH over and i went through each one, I went to #2 and he goes 'Thats it, she looks HOT in that one, vote for me' lolol
