More fun with FBIL!!!!

This one doesn't directly affect me in anyway but I know some of you find my FBIL stories entertaining... this one just goes to show how desparate he is to make this chick happy....

So FBIL's FW refuses to move into his current place and INSISTS on being within 5 miuntes of where she currently lives. She owns a co-op loft type place that isn't big enough for the both of them... So she's making him sell his place and he's buying her a MILLION DOLLAR townhouse on the river down in DC... she is also making him get rid of EVERY piece of furniture he owns... I LOVE IT.

AAAAAAAAAND he wanted her to sign a pre-nup and she refused... so I CAN NOT WAIT until she wants to divorce him he's still paying for her to live there.

The furniture thing was funny because he offered some of it to us, most of it is hideous but I was going to take his bar stools for the island in my kitchen and reupholster them. He wanted $100 EACH for them... I'm sorry I'll go buy new ones that I don't have to reupholster for that kind of money... soooo greedy.

Well he's gotta make the $$ to pay for his high-maintenance bride-to-be somehow!

Because he is SOOOOO greedy and can't do anything nice for people unless it benefits him somehow!!! And how is he going to buy her all the new furniture they're going to need for their new place since he's 'not allowed' to bring his?!?!?!

He's older (35) so he bought his first place a while ago and squanders every dime he gets... he's pretty cheap about spending money on stuff which is why I'm guessing he still drives his 9 million year old miata so I guess with all of his saving and infesting he was able to save enough for a decent downpayment and then whatever equity he has in his current place...

I don't care how much $$$ he has, all of the money in the world will never make him a decent human being.

Wow I've never known anyone with enough equity to need a prenup.
But I'm all for them. They are realistic and a safety net.
I figure it this way. I don't want anything from FH but his love and a future together. So if he asked me to sign something saying that his past remains his past I would be ok with it.
Then again all FH would get from me is $170K in school loans.

I've never met her... but from her pics on FB she has a long horse face that looks like she was ridden hard and put away wet... I'm not sure what that expression means really but FH used it when he was describing her to me and I thought it was funny. Lots of partying miles on that face which makes sense since her new home had to be within walking distance from the bars... because that is what I'll be most concerned about when I'm almost 40... being able to walk to the bars.
