A co-worker just came up to me and went 'Congratulations!'

I looked at her and she said 'On the baby - great news!'

I told her No, and she goes 'but you can tell'

I said no again

and she goes 'oh sorry, it just looked a little. . . '

I walked away and I'm crying at my desk and hoping no one sees

I'm trying to hard to lose weight, its just discouraging. I didn't realize I looked THAT bad

I just needed to tell someone and I'm embarassed to tell anyone at work.

sweety, I hope ur feeling better. I used to always get asked if I was pregnant. until finally I started saying crazy things instead of saying no and getting embarassed ...I started saying yes, or i'd say 'actually i have a tumor' or i'd say I just lost a baby...just to make them realize that u never know and u should never open your mouth. people have no class or tact. I'm not even fat...I'm a petite girl...but i have a pouch...and when i gain weight it goes to my lower belly
