More OPINIONS NEEDED !!!! Need Opinions please

I have to write an evalutation of my student teacher for tomorrow. I have to say that I think she is amazing. The only mistakes she is making are truly from inexperience and they are very minor.

Could you please tell me if this sounds positive and professional.
Questions #1 -- What are the candidate's stengths, as demonstrated to date?


Cynthia has a natural gift for relating to her students. This is something that cannot be taught. She has the true heart of a teacher and has a true concern for their learning and understanding of Spanish. She demonstrates a high level of energy in the classroom. She has a kind, sensitive, understanding and compassionate nature.

Question #2 What noteable accomplishments have taken place?

Cynthia has become more and more comfortable in front of the room. She has taken more steps to be very careful and meticulous in her explanations. She has learned to take control of a classroom and still allow the children to have room to enjoy themselves.


Please help I am horrible at writing. Any advice and input is welcomed!!

Thank you I am so nervous for her. I heard her supervising professor is a B!tch on Wheels and I don't want to leave anything open for interpetation Cindy is awesome!! I am thrilled to have her.

Ok I have to write areas that need improvement-- How does this sound?

My two recommendations for improvement would be: to become more comfortable with the computer and the technology that is available and to practice writing her handwriting on the board.

Thank you all so much! I am so nervous for her. I know that she will do awesome! I could not sleep worrying for her so hopefully I do not yawn while she is teaching!!!

Sounds great! Here's something I think you should add though - what about her planning? Is she prepared for class. Can she think quickly on her feet if an unexpected question is posed?

As an administrator, I would certainly be concerned with her in front of the class, but I would also want to know what she's like behind the scenes...just a suggestion.

The rest of it sounds wonderful!

Thank you all so much! Cindy's observation went well!!! I think she did beautifully! The woman must be hard of hearing because she said that Cindy didn't do something when I know for a fact that she did. I was scripting her lesson Just wanted to make sure she was taking care of! When I reminded her that she did say that at this point and this at that point she went oh yeah I think I remember that. She also didn't like something that was a department policy. I had to explain to her that Cindy is following my chairperson's requirements due to state testing and she looked at me like I had 3 heads. Didn't she know that there is a proficency in 8th grade?????????

So Cindy is very happy. The professor agreed with me that Cindy has the makings of an incredible teacher and that she has an amazing presence in the room.

She actually complimented me on my classroom set up and this reward system that I use for the tables

I think it sounds good...but I'm not sure about improving the technology part...its such a biggie in today's schools...that it might seem too negative for her (I'm all about avoiding all negatives)

the handwriting is a good one...not too harsh...but maybe we can think of another one - instead of the technology?
