More questions! How did everyone meet FI/husband?

We met at a Red Cross blood drive the first time. He got woozy and I gave him my cookie and orange juice. He says he tried to get my number but was sort of out of it and I remember thinking what a cool guy (despite the wimpy almost faint) Thought about him occasionally (and he told me he did too) but no idea who until several years later we were set up by friends and recognized each other. Fate.

We went to high school together but never talked. We ended up sitting next to eachother at a mutual friend's sweet 16 6 years ago and hit it off.

I was going through a difficult depression after friends of mine and a guy I had been on and off again with for 7 years died in a car accident. After months of depression and months of trying to get me out of the house a friend convinced me to go to dinner with her and her boyfriend and her boyfriends friend who she swore would at least make me laugh for the night becuase he was funny and a nice guy. I decided to go out for just that one night. Well, he made me laugh... My friends and family say he was a blessing for coming into my life at just the right time. I just thank GOd I decided to go out. We've been together for 5 years now.

We met on the Internet. I first date was a few weeks later. That will be 3 years to the day on our wedding day this November.

We met at work ... someone we worked with told me he had a crush on me (or thouht I was hot! ) but I was dating someone at the time ... it was about 8 months later that we got together

I ended a 3 year relationship two months before so I was a dating fool. I went to the Oyster Fest in Oyster Bay with my GF. Anyway..long story short I lost my cell phone and I was supposed to meet my friend to watch the Jets game...I was so pissed about the phone that I decided to go to Cantaberry's (a local bar, my dad's second home) and see if I could find my father..I walk in and Gary was standing there..I couldn't stop looking at him..anyway I get a hold of my dad who was at another bar and he said that this biker guy found my phone and called him..so I go to meet my dad and he's like lets go back to Cantaberry's..so we did and we wound up standing right next to the hot guy, Gary...my dad was a little tipsy and so he stands on a ledge and screams out 'Does anyone know the score of the Bronco game' and so I turn to Gary and I asked him if he knew the score and he was like tell me your a Bronco fan (its a Denver team) and I was like since I was 7 and he's like I'm a huge Denver Bronco fan..and the rest is history..we moved in 2 months later and we have been together for 2 years

Fh and I were both members of an online Ford truck owner/enthusiasts website. They had a couple of meets and on the third one, we hit it off and started to see eachother after that.

We're both in the Hibernians. He noticed me a couple of years ago and asked to be introduced but my friend said that I 'didn't do short guys'. We always said hi and made small talk until last October when we were both a little buzzed at a party and talked for hours. I realized what a great guy he is. We both knew the next time we met that there was something really strange happening, especially as we were both confirmed singletons. Seven months later we were engaged. We will be married on our two year anniversary.

We met at work and got assigned to work on a project together. When he first asked me out, I completely blew off the invitation because I was convinced he was married or going through a divorce. That's because I had SWORN I had seen a ring on his wedding finger before.

Long story short, after that invite, my curiosity got the best of me. I started paying more attention to him and realized I liked him. When he got up the nerve to ask me out again, (to go hiking), I decided I would go because it wasn't really a date and I would ask him what his status was while we were hiking. When he told me he was single and had never been married before (doesn't ever wear rings for that matter), I couldn't believe it. How could I be so wrong?

Our first date lasted 13 hours.

Thanks who would have known that all of this was going to happen. My parents always joke that if they tried to get us to date years ago it never would have worked. We actually hid the fact that we had started dating from my parents and his because we didn't want their relationship to be strange god forbid we broke up. After three months of hanging out we finally told them.

At an Amish retreat where I was volunteering my services to mend the community's shoes while he was touring the Amish country in search of a simple life of cows and horses and no Internet access.
Nope, actually at the now-defunct Dallenger in the Garden City Hotel, through his cousin (my friend). We started chatting, spending hours on the phone, hanging out, and nearly 6 years later, I am his ecstatic wife
