more than 1 ring bearer

ok, so I have 3 RB but only one will hold the pillow, what do the others do? what are you guys doing?

I'm getting one of those banners. The two older boys, who are really 'junior groomsmen'--must preserve their nine and ten year old dignity, right? --will carry the banner. They're brothers, my FH's nephews, and my soon-to-be nephews. ( They're great kids. The older one gave me a pen that says #1 Aunt on it at Christmas. He's such a sweetheart. You know how they have those things at school where the kids buy cheapie presents for their families? He got it there, but I was SO touched he thought of me, because he doesn't know me well.) Anyhow, they're carrying the banner, which was a lot of money, but I'm going to sell it on eBay after the wedding. Then my nephew will be the real ringbearer and carry a pillow with fake rings. I'm NOT risking the real rings! One of my friends went to a wedding recently where the very young ringbearer dropped the pillow, they didn't have the rings tied on, and they rolled off. It was outside, at twilight, and no one could find them! They had to get flashlights. Can you imagine? Not happening at my wedding, although my nephew is nearly eight, he's a bit more responsible.

Or, you could have one boy, if he's young enough, carry a teddy bear. Or, your teddy bear. I'm tempted to have my ringbearer carry my beloved bear, Aloysius, but I think he's too old to want to carry a bear in public.

I love this idea!!!

I am having two, I think they will both carry a pillow with fake rings. They are 3 & 1 so not sure how they are even going to do, but they are gonna be so darn cute nobody will pay attention to what they are carrying.
