FH and I have lived together for two years now. I love it! I'm a little worried though, that once we're married, it won't feel any different because we already will have lived together for for years. Although, if it's already great... what's wrong with more 'great'?

MEE TOOOOOO....I'm so excited...we chose not to live together b4 the honeymoon...IMO I think it makes it more special but i wish it was nhow...we barely see ea. other
Hopefully it'll make it that much more special when we do...and then we'll be married so he can't run away screaming....

i already live with my fh!!! its super fun...i mean it was a little adjustment at first cuz we did have to get our routines down and figure out what little quirks did or didn't bother us! but dont get discouraged if u do fight a little...just remember u love each other and its just stupid little stuff that really doesnt mean anything in the long run!!!!!
our thought behind living together first before getting engaged...if we could live together and want to be with each other without anything keeping us here...we would be together for forever. ...i guess u could say it was a test run.

Same here! The first few weeks were tough! But if you remember not to punch him when he forgets to repace the toilet paper, or doesn't put the cap back on the toothpaste ( ) you'll be jusssssssst fine!

We have been living together for over 2 years now. We started in a one bedroom apartment. And now we just bought a house. Alot of people have their 2 cents to throw in about living together before, but neither of us is religous, and the whole reason of him getting the apartment in the first place was because he just wanted to be close to me.
It wasnt a big adjustment, and sometimes people will say how we spoiled the fun, because after we get married what is there to look forward to!
I get annoyed but its our choice, and now we have our house, and have lived together for 2 years, its the real deal and now we can plan our wedding, and not have to worry how or where we will live after the wedding.

i totally agree!!! ive had people say things to us like oh id NEVER move in before getting married thats sooo horrible...ud be living in sin
i just want to be like ure committing a 'sin' anyway by doing the things ure doing
..at least i know i was in a committed relationship and going to marry my fh!!!!!

PLEASE don't take offense....Its just my preference- I know we would fight more with the stress of living together and planning...I'm definately used to living on my own and I totally see why it would be great to live together now, but for me personally I jsut want to wait so its something else to look forward to...trust me...I look forward all week to be able to sleep w/ him in the same bed...my MOH and her FH don't even do that...she still has to lie to her mother and tell her she's sleeping at my house when she wants to stay over the 3 times a friggin year....BTW they're getting married next July and they own a house (Love ya Rosel! )
So yeah...it varies w/ preference...I really hope you don't take offense by it

i agree with soontobe2007...its people not on these boards that sometimes just arent nice about things. like in my case its someone being hypocritical just to say theyre better than me or something...not very nice.
but in the long run it doesnt matter what anyone says or does. its whatever makes u happy is whats best!
and itll totally be something to look forward to and be sooooooo happy about. itll be something new! u girls are going to looooooove it!

girls ..it definitely is sooo much fun living together ...but just be aware that u see a totally different side of him that you have never seen before ....its great most of the time ...but it also is very trying on ur relationship getting used to the changes ...just have an open mind going into it that it is going to be very different from the way u were living before ...sorry to be the bearer of bad news but i figured it helps ...it wouldve helped me a lot if someone told me that before we moved in together ...but again its so much better than livin with ur parents ! HTH

me too!! I can't wait to be a married couple and be able to come home from work to him every night! We don't live with each other and sometimes its hard because I feel like we barely see each other.

FH & I actually lived next door to each other then we lived together. Now we live apart. WE decided that we would rather wait to buy a to live together again, after the wedding, we hope to buy in April of 2008...
It's so hard I miss living w/ FH but it gets me more excited for our wedding
