morning after hotel brunch

We are blocking hotel rooms for the day after, mostly for bridal party and familly from NJ (so they don't have to drive home), i have no idea how many people are going to stay. Do you think that it is rude to have anyone who is staying over and going to the buffet brunch pay for themselves? Or should I get a total # and have a private room, I'm just afraid this will add up to alot of $$ and I have no clue on the ettiquette, thank you!

We are doing a private brunch at the hotel the day after.. It is only costing $400.

I'm not really sure on ettiquette, but I was in wedding last year and we went for brunch the next day. Everyone paid for themselves. I don't think people would mind.

I am getting married at the Watermill the next day. We are inviting about 20 guest from CA but have no idea if they will come as we will be out there 3 weeks later. We are not having a brunch. My FH and I are staying at a completely different hotel (I deliberately did this)... about 20 miles away in the other direction and will be leaving on our honeymoon the next day. Many of my guests live in the tri-state region (NJ or Westchester) but we don't think they will stay over as they all have fairly young children. I'm trying to keep costs down... it's his second wedding and my only living parent is handicapped so they can't host.

I wouldn't expect a brunch the next day... also some people might have to leave very early to make flights or drive... it is July 4th.
