I was just in the bathroom at work, hugging the toilet bowl!
What can I take to make me feel better......? _________________

Hi Denise,
Thanks for the advice. I hope this ends VERY SOON!
By the way, when did you notice that your clothes started getting tighter? I am only 5 1/2 weeks and I only have two pairs of pants left that I can wear comfortably. My stomache already looks different! It looks like I am going to have to do some clothes shopping very soon.....
Denise
For me I gained real quick in the hips, butt and thighs. I was up 5 lbs before the 9 week point (but didn't gain more than 1lb between 9-14). Since I wear a lot of tailored and fitted clothes, my bottoms stopped fitting right away. By 8-10 weeks, I had hardly anything left to wear on my bottom half. I bought a few basic items a size or 2 up because I had no belly so maternity was too big for me. That was best for me. Actually, the clothes I bought a few size up - most still fit now at week 24 (esp the lower rise stuff). As for shirts - I would say around week 15-17 - I started to get limited to what I could wear and again bought clothes a size or two up because maternity was still not fitting right. Now my belly is starting to pop out so hopefully soon I will be full on maternity. I am ready to burn my size or two up clothes because I wear the same things over and over for 3-4 months now!!!!

For me I had m/s with no puking - so I just ate everything in sight so I would feel better and it all stayed in me. And it was all bad stuff - all carbs....thus my expansion in the butt and hips! But I also had a lot of bloating - so that made my clothes uncomfortable right away. But it got better as the m/s eased up....

For tight clothes you could also use the rubberband trick at first. Loop a rubberband around the buttoon of your pants/skirts and then loop it through the hole and back on the button. It gives you extra room before having to buy new clothes

I , too am sick as a dog. Today has been a pretty good day though. I am currently 13 weeks so i am hoping and praying that relief is coming around the corner. I started feeling really sick about 5 weeks. Sleep helped me a lot and ginger ale occassionally. Not much else really helped. Seltzer did help sometimes too, but it has been a long tough road.
