Would you go to a 10am wedding on Memomrial Day weekend Sunday? FH and I are not in agreement and I wanted to know what you ladies think. Be honest - I want to know what you REALLY think. Thanks!

If you don't have something planned already why wouldn't you go to the wedding? Are you not close with the people who are getting married?

I would go. If you really cared about the couple you would be there no matter what the time.
I lost a few nights sleep over the same thing.
Our date is on the Monday(labor day) and I was so worried that no one would want to come. I eventually called one of my closest friend, my sister...and she helped me to make my decision to choose that day. We are having a morning ceremony as well.
I would go with what is good for you guys. People who love and care about you guys will be there.

To be honest with you, you would probably not get alot of people to attend your ceremony since it is early on a holiday weekend. I would go with either a 12:00 PM or 11:30 AM ceremony.

I would go if it were someone I loved. If it were an acquaintance of not so close friend, I might not. If it were someone I loved, I would be there, but not happy about it being so early! I had a hard enough time being at my best friends wedding(I was MOH) at 11 Am, but that's just me, I am not a morning person. Also, I agree with the girl who wrote saying that it would be stressful to you -- you'd have to be up before the sun to get ready! The bottom line is though, you have to do what your dream is to do! Those who love you will be there!

IMHO: No. By the time we woke up and got ready and got to the church, we would have to wake up at like 6am.
I guess I don't see the big deal with that... I get up at 6am 5-6 days of the week. What's one more? These people only get married once.
I'd probably be at the ceremony, unless for some odd reason I was going to a wedding for someone neither FH nor I knew very well.

my wedding started at 10 am and the church was packed! i always go to the ceremony regardless of time/place so if someone doesn't go, too bad for them.
having it on a holiday weekend is a different story. i would go if i didn't have other plans (which i usually do on holiday weekends)
