Mortgages

For those of you who have them, or know someone who does....

Check out RATE REMODIFYING. I don''t know if your mortgage has to be directly from a bank to take advantage of this, but it's worth looking into.

With the interest rates so low, we wanted to lower ours, but didn't want to refinance our mortgage, again. Refinancing comes with another whopper of a closing fee (~5K, usually). So we discovered rate remodifying, which allows you to keep your exhisting mortgage and nothing changes except the interest rate, which is based on your principal at the time the application goes through. Takes a couple weeks from start to finish. It's basically a short application (~$100). With all fees included the final cost is ~$1,500.

I've posted this in other places, but wanted to make sure I covered everyone. Hope you can make some use of this.
