Mosquito Bites!!!!

No, not the phrase people used to call me in HS b/c of my flat chest...

ACTUAL mosquito bites-- ALL over my ankles. I was sitting in the computer room the other night and spotted one but I couldn't smush it quick enough and it hid behind furniture... I was in the room all of ten minutes and left...

The next morning I had NINE bites!!! Now they are huge welts b/c I can't stop itching them and I'm, on my own, supporting this little SOB's life! The only reason he didn't starve to death is b/c of ME! I've been avoiding the computer room for two days...

What can I do in the mean time to get the itching to stop?!!! It's driving me CRAZY!!!! I sit at work rubbing my ankles together underneath my desk.

Also, will the little b-a-s-t-a-r-d die eventually?!!

Help-- remedies please!!!

I hate the little buggers too!! I'm allergic to whatever it is that they spit in you, and I get ginormous welts. Its really pretty.

JK.. I am sorry you must be terribly itchy right now.. maybe get some calamine (sp) lotion to put on them?? that should help

LOL I wish!! I so wish that was the reason I got bit. You should have seen me looking for that SOB last night all over the house-- with a rolled up magazine in my hand!!! He even managed to get me once, randomly, on my HAND!!!

I wanna make this little $hit feel PAIN!!!!!

yOU CAN USE CALMINE LOTION TO STOP THE ITCHING, ALSO BENDADRYL HAS A STICK YOU CAN USE TO ALLIEVATE THIS ITCHING AS WELL. SORRY, I AGREE MOSQUITOS SUCK

wow, never knew about that-- it's not the witch hazel i think will be painful-- it's the making X's with my fingernails that MIGHT hurt a little... YIKES!!!

Glad to hear I'm not the only one who got bit this week! Should'nt these bitches be dead already!?

I like witch hazel and benedryl makes a great no itch gel that really works and takes away some of the swelling..

don't don't scratch even though I know it's hard. I had the same thing happen and I scratched them and now I have horrible!!!! scars all over my ankles and calves. Everyone is praying they go away before my wedding lol!


Don't scratch if you can--- cortisone cream works best for the itching- cvs brand is amazing!
