No, not the phrase people used to call me in HS b/c of my flat chest...
ACTUAL mosquito bites-- ALL over my ankles. I was sitting in the computer room the other night and spotted one but I couldn't smush it quick enough and it hid behind furniture... I was in the room all of ten minutes and left...
The next morning I had NINE bites!!! Now they are huge welts b/c I can't stop itching them and I'm, on my own, supporting this little SOB's life! The only reason he didn't starve to death is b/c of ME! I've been avoiding the computer room for two days...
What can I do in the mean time to get the itching to stop?!!! It's driving me CRAZY!!!! I sit at work rubbing my ankles together underneath my desk.
Also, will the little b-a-s-t-a-r-d die eventually?!!
Help-- remedies please!!!

You are probably producing a lot of mast cells right now from the bites - kind of like a hypersensitivity/allergic reaction - If you have benadryl or any other antihistamine (benadryl is the best however it will make you sleep - others are clariten, zyrtec, atarax, allegra etc - altough you need a Rx) take it. You can start with 25mg of benadryl by mouth every four hours as needed for the itching - those will help reduce the swelling by affecting mast cell production. You can use the overr the counter topical products such as maximum strength cortisone, calamine, benadryl as well - Hope this helps!!!

The same thing happens to me when I get bitten, they turn into huge red things. I buy hydrocortison cream. Once I use it and stop scratching they usually start to shrink
