Re: Most annoying commercials of all time!

hmmm - that one doesn't sound familiar. Maybe it's a regional one!

My all time most annoying commerical is the one for hershey's chocolate syrup. This kid would stand on the street, squirt the syrup in his mouth, then down a glass of milk, and gargle it in HIS MOUTH!!!!!!!!!!
EWWWWW, I wanted to puke when I saw that. That doesn't make me want to buy the product, it makes me want to avoid it at all costs! LOL

Re: Most annoying commercials of all time!

FUNNY YOU ASKED this question, I was just talking about a commercial that annoys me, about an hour ago ! HAH.

I hate the digital cable commercial where the kid is trying to convince his father to get rid of dial-up.

Towards the end of the commercial, you can hear me saying 'DAD, CAN WE GO NOW ????' (the kid is waiting for his dad, to go swimming, and he's in his swimsuit and flippers, and his dad is taking forever with his dial-up modem)....

I just did it before and DH was laughing and goes 'WOW youre watching too much TV !!' LOL
and I used to make fun of him when he knew commercials by heart !

I def hate the one with the hershey syrup and the gargling of milk. It sounds disgusting, I just change the chanel everytime.

Re: Most annoying commercials of all time!

Another one I hate is a commercial for wendys! Someone is going around asking people what they think of some new sandwhich they have and everyone answers with their mouths full... it completl grosses me out! I am not sure if that is another regional one.

Re: Most annoying commercials of all time!

I don't know why, but the one that really irks my nerve (and it's suppossed to be cute) is the KODAK commercial where the kid makes an enlargement of his grandmother playing baseball. He brings it to her and asks if she could still do that, she's soooo touched, she starts crying. OH BROTHER.

If I were the grandmother, I'd smack him, and say 'Do I look like I could still do that???'
I don't know why that kid is soooo annoying to me.
No offense in case some of you like it. hee hee

Re: Most annoying commercials of all time!

I cannot stand the ditech.com re-financing commercials with the guy who is the loan officer from the bank. The one where he dresses up like his own mother drives me nuts!!!

Re: Most annoying commercials of all time!

There are so many!!

My most annoying commercial was on a few years ago for Diet Doctor Pepper. There was a whole series of commercials where the tagline line was 'Diet Dr. Pepper tastes more like the original'. And everytime I would hear it, I would think to myself 'than what? Diet Dr Pepper tastes more like the original than what? Orange juice? Gasoline? The english language requires you to compare it to something when you use the term 'more' like this' ughhhghh!
