Although probably common, I didn't mind receiving a simple silver bell. It looked pretty on all the tables (w/a ribbon) and we rang them during the reception.

I was thinking of chocolate myself. 'Bridgewater Chocolates' they are located in CT and they're chocolate are soooo delicious. I am in the process of getting a quote with them and I am afraid they will be too expensive. We will see..........

the best I ever got was a cd with all love songs on it.. I wanted to do it, but i know it takes a lot of time...

The best favor I received was a CD of love songs. It was filled with good songs that I still listen to (my mom and sister do too). My FH liked it so much that he is going to make them as one of our favors.

The most memorable favor I ever got was a 'donation favor'. FH's cousin did this quite a few years ago, and gave each guest a scroll with the info on the table. We're going to do donations also (but our place cards will be cds)!

two things from two different weddings.
(1) a CD full of great songs
(2) silver wedding bells xmas ornament (it was a December wedding). It had the bride and grooms names and date engraved on it. I still hang it on my tree everyyear and the wedding was in 1993.
