We gave mini cocktail shakers, which I thought was cool. But my favorite favors have always been anything I can eat! Godiva/Lindt truffles.......mmm!

Re: most memorable favors
One time I got bagels and the sunday morning paper, at a Sat. night wedding. I thought that was awesome. Also full size bottles of pindar wine at another wedding.

Its hard because i know that doing favors is and gets expensive, but you also have to think of what you would like to get. A cheese cutter is just not one of them! I'm doing personalized m&m's in our wedding colors.
But the best favor i ever got was... my FSIL's... her husband is a fireman so they gave out chocolate in the shape of firetrucks and a silver coffee scooper.

Re: most memorable favors
I have recieved a cd of songs from the wedding, which I loved. I had also gotten a box of 2 crispy creme's and I was in heaven! I thought that was the best favor ever.

That's up there with my most memorable, plaster of paris statues of the Virgin Mary, handmade by the bride, who got stressed during the painting process.
