Mother Daughter Dance UPDATED!!! He's comming

I need some ideas of a song to dance with my mom to. Im not sure if my dad is comming i havent gotten a response yet from him and the rsvp date was 9/19. All his #'s were changed so i cant get him. Im kinda bummed but cant let it get to me. Any ideas are greatly appreciated.

I finally heard form my dad. He is comming. thanks so much for all the suggestions for a mother daughter dance, i will still dance with mom even thought my dad is comming, she deserves it. :)

I obviously don't know your dad so I can't judge, but if your not sure if he's even coming it sounds like its more appropriate that your mom dances with you anyway (that is if she's the one who's taken care of you). JMO....hope that's not offensive!!

I danced w/ my mom (my dad passed) to Daughters by John Mayer, but I had also considered Isn't She Lovely by Stevie Wonder. And for a brief second I thought of using Landslide by Stevie Nicks (just b/c I love the song). or how bout You Raised Me Up by Josh Groban? HTH!

My best friend and her mom always say 'Imagine Me & You' is 'their' song. I think that's really cute. It depends a lot on your relationship w/your mom.

I was going to suggest this also. It is a beautiful song!

My mother and I are dancing together as well. We are using Forever Young by Rod Stewart. The lyrics are really great!
