My fiance's mother just sent us a very generous Hanuukah Gift.
Hannukah is tomorrow......I am so embarrassed b/c we didn't get her anything. This happened last year, but it wasn't a big deal b/c we had only been together a short time, and I didn't know any better b/c my family usually gives only small gifts on Hannukah....more of a childrens' holiday.
Well this year there is no excuse (other than our wedding 8 wks away and having just moved 2 weeks ago and I just got back from a long business trip and my mind is all over the place)
WHAT CAN I OVERNIGHT HER AS A GIFT FROM US? THERE IS NOTHING I CAN THINK OF THAT SHE NEEDS...........ANY IDEAS? I'm thinking a $50 range. Can't do flowers.......did that when we forgot the birthday last month....yikes.

Thats what I was thinking! Just be careful of their prices, but my Aunt sends us one every year with just apples and pears and theyre really good!

Yeah, they can be pricey, especially with delivery charges!! We got our property management office a nice one for only $30 though-all candy, no fruit.

Re: mother in law gift?
gift certificate to her favorite restaurant or even one in the city so she has an excuse to come visit. Also, Godiva, gourmet food basket, flower arrangement with food from 800-flowers. Even a Pajama Gram.
