Re: Mother in law gift?
We got my mom and my DH's mom a Brighton charm bracelets. On my mom's, we put the 'mom' charm, DH's birthstone charm and my birthstone. On my MIL's bracelet, we put my DH's birthstone, my birthstone and my SIL's birthstone.
For my mom's birthday, I just got her my stepdad's birthstone and her birthstone to finish out the family!!
I think i'm going to do the same for my MIL for Christmas.

That's awesome! That is like my FMIL and I. She treats me like her own. she actually asked me if she can call me her daughter instead of daughter in law. *tear*
I got her a few personal gifts. She is a business woman so I got her a pen from Tiffany (will have it engraved to say 'I love you Mom')
I also got her a personalized hanky from Etsy. it came with a beautiful card - even FH got a little choked up when he saw it. I will also get her a personalized frame.
HTH!

It's so great that you have that type of relationship with your FMIL! One of the girls on here got her fmil a handkerchief embroidered with something like 'thank you for raising the man of my dreams' and I thought that was extremely sweet!

We gave my MIL a portrait of us. In addition, she loves antiques, and I bought a nice antique jar from 1930s.She loved it. I hope that helps. Buy her something that you know she will cherish forever.

I like the idea of a personalized handkerchief also. Mine will be crying for sure. I was also thinking of getting them a personalized throw. I found one on Etsy that like. http://www.etsy.com/shop/CoutureWeddingHankie
I can't get the image to show up. Anyway, I would change the saying around to customize it for my mom and MIL. What do you think?
