mother making veil- need help

My mother has decided to make my veil, which is of course fine. But she isn't sure how to finish off the edges or add edging or beading. Any ideas on how to do this easily?

Finish off the edges how ?
With satin binding, a rolled edge, or lace ?
They can be left plain also.

As for the beading, it can be sewn on by hand using clear nylon thread, or it can carefully be glued on with Tacky glue (comes in a light brown bottle), not a hot glue gun or it will melt the tulle.

Suggest buying a piece of tulle to practice on before doing the real thing.

What a nice thing that you mom is doing for you.

It is very nice of her and she is very excited, just nervous :) I don't know really how to edge it off. Does it stay smooth with no edging?

Yes, it will stay smooth. Tulle is not like regular fabric, it won't unravel without a 'hem'

You can still put beads on it without an edge.
Rolling the edge and binding with satin is something I would leave to the pros.
