We went to Saks, Neimun Marcus and Lord N Taylor! My mom didn't want a typical mother of the bride dress. she ended up getting hers from Neimun Marcus, it was around 1,000.

My mom doesn't want a typical Mother of the Bride dress either and that is the problem with the bridal shops.

We got my mom's dress at My Daughter's Wedding II in Great Neck. It's a really beautiful dress with a suit jacket over it. It actually only cost about $150 (!!!) which was amazing.
FMIL bought her dress from jcpenny.com.

One of my good friend's mothers bought her dress at Totally You in Bellmore. She recommended it to us for my mom.
Also, My Daughter's Wedding in Great Neck is supposed to be great.

we just bought my moms last night from Lynbrook Bridal ...they were awesome in there ---highly recommend using them!!

My Mom finally found her dress at Charisol bridal in Flushing. I am not sure about the cost but I know she did not want to go over $500.

My mom got hers at My Daughter's Wedding in Great Neck. It is a Jovani and it is sooo beautiful. We just went last week to see the color (teal) and it is gorgeous. I think it cost around $600.

My mom bought hers at En Toto in Great Neck. It's gorgeous!!!! Her dress was not cheap, though. With alterations, it'll probably be close to $1,000.

we went to a bunch of stores and she didnt like anything so we ended up going to davids bridal and found a really nice dress for like $300

Elena's Bridal in Merrick I think the dress was $450 with out alterations. They were very reasonably priced and had a large selection. My FMIL got hers at Macy's but she may return it.

My mom didn't, either. She ordered a bridesmaid dress (not same designer, color or fabric as my BM's), plain and elegant, and she looks great in it. she didn't want to be bedazzled, froufy, etc. pic of dress in my album.
The dress was I think $155.

both of our mom's got their dresses at paradise bridal
the first pic is my mom's dress the second pic is FH's mom's dress
We went to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa, and they have the best selection! Try there, my mother and FMIL had great luck finding a dress!

My mom will probably make hers. She's a crazy sewer and she made her dress for my brother and sisters weddings. She looked fab!

I took my mom to totally you in merrick. They only cater to mob's and they have beautiful dresses there. My mom and aunt both got thier dresses there the same day we went. The prices range from $200 - $800
