Soooo hypathetically speaking, if your mother wanted to wear yellow for the wedding, and she is walking you down the aisle with your dad, do you think her dress will be too light and come out light in pictures?
Not at all! And I think for an august wedding, it'll be perfect. We're talking a nice tasteful yellow and not big bird yellow though right?

Ya know alot of MOB wear champagne and it looks fine in pics....she might be ok with the yellow
Sorry to crash but i wanted to give you full warning...dh's bro's gf bought a canary yellow dress from davids for our wedding and in EVERY pic it looks white. Someone even went as far as to say the following day 'who had the nerve to wear white to your wedding' Trust me it does look white especially in the reception. If you want to see a pic i will post one.
