if my BM's are wearing lilac (very light color). what color dress should my mom wear?

My honest answer? Any color she wants!
She isn't likely to be in any pictures with the entire bridal party - maybe with your sisters if you have any... But I don't think the MOB should have to coordinate with the BP.

Here's one of my immediate family. Sorry I don't have any of her with my BMs.
ETS: That's a shawl wrapped around her arms for the ceremony and pics. She took it off for the reception, the dress has regular straps.

my girls are in lilac and mom is in seafoam green pics are in my album.. they go great toghetre!

My girls dresses are periwinkle, my mom wants to try to find something in the sage family, my step mom will be wearing in the rose family and my FMIL just got something that is 'plum' (I don't know exactly what color it is, I haven't seen the dress yet!)
I don't think that it matters if they match or don't match. I think that TOO much consistency isn't good.
