My mom and I went looking for MOB dresses a few weeks ago and were very disappointed. My mom felt all of the dresses were old lady looking and mom isn't old and doesn't want to look older. Does anyone recommend a place that has a large selection of dresses. Thanks in advance.
Also, don;t fee lrestricted to MOB dresses. Some of the most beautiful dresses are not going to be so labeled.

Alta Moda in Bellmore on Merrick Road has amazing dresses. My mom got hers at Menakshe in Cedarhurst and they have beautiful dresses too. Both are pricey but wekk worth it. Also, check out Nordstroms and Saks.
My mom got hers at Lord & Taylor....its beautiful....she did not want some old lady lacey looking thing...UUGH
My FMIL got her dress from Nordstroms. My Mom's dress is actually a bridesmaid's dress (she's just not a beading person, and most of the typical MOB dresses seemed to have lots of beading).
