Mother of the bride dresses?

So, my mom found a beautiful dress she and I both love... but she would like to see more options. So far we have been to several bridal shops but nothing has really stood out. We are thinking to go to Sugarplum... has anyone gone there? Any other recommendations? We would like to go somewhere geared more towards specialty/mother dresses not bridal gowns.

My mother got her dress at RK Bridal and they had a big selection for special occassion dresses. I've also heard good things about Estelle's in Farmingdale.

Never been to Sugarplum, but my mom got her dress as Totally You in Bellmore.

my aunt got two MOG dresses there. She said they aren't the most inexpensive place, but they are super sweet and organized. In her opinion she said the few extra dollars were totally worth it.

My mom will be going there to get her dress as well. HTH!

Is it possible to find a MOB dress under $300??? We've had no luck so far. :(

Another vote for Totally You. My mom got her gown there for around $400. MIL got hers at Estelle's.

My mom found her dress at Sugar Plum.... I like that they don't rush you at all and have a TON of dresses in stock in the various colors. My mom practically tried on every dress in the shop!

My Mom got hers at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and was really happy with the selection and service

But she didn't get it altered there.

We drive out to Staten Island and Ivory and Company. They specialize in MOB/MOG and they have GORGEOUS gowns. Well worth the drive
