So, my mom found a beautiful dress she and I both love... but she would like to see more options. So far we have been to several bridal shops but nothing has really stood out. We are thinking to go to Sugarplum... has anyone gone there? Any other recommendations? We would like to go somewhere geared more towards specialty/mother dresses not bridal gowns.

My mom got her dress at the Bridal Suite of Huntington. It's a small store but they had a lot of dresses she liked besides the one she ended up with. The staff was really great too!

my aunt got her dress there for my cousins wedding. She asked about having it shorter and the lady misinterpeted her and said 'your not that young honey' .. We were dying, she was not lol
They were rude. we would have left but she had already bought the dress

I love my mom's dress. She got it at the Wedding Plaza in Floral Park!
