my mom and i are off this week so shes like u wanna come with me to look for a dress for her to wear at the wedding, not thinking we would find anything....
my mom ended up lovinggg a black dress with swarovski crystals on it. she actually ordered it bc it was soo beautiful and elegant. she LOVES black dresses that have sparkle lol. my nana said that she should not wear black though! she was sooo mean lol. any of ur moms or fh's mom gonna wear black???
it's soo pretty and just her style!

I think the most important thing is that she is happy. My FH's mother wore a dress she wasn't absolutly in love with to his sisters wedding and she is still upset about it 3 years later. If you feel comfortable with it ... then why not?

I think a lot of mothers wear black. It's a personal preference. I've asked my mom and FMIL not to wear black, but that's just me. The only black in our wedding will be the groom's tuxes.
