my family is taking my grandma to AC. we lost my grandfather back in October so we're making this mother's day EXTRA special for her!!!!!!

My mom drives me absolutely BONKERS on Mother's Day. She 'claims' she hates the holiday because she doesn't like her children being forced to give her gifts.
So if you get her something, she goes on and on about how she hates gifts given out of obligation and she doesn't want to celebrate.
However, if you don't give her anything, she sulks.
So, she'll wake up to find bright cheery flowers on the kitchen table left by the Mother's Day fairy..and that usually is enough!
