Both my mom and FH mom might have found dresses, they are very different, but both want a navy blue. Do you think this is ok? My girls are in purple, so i now it goes, just dont want it to look funny with both in blue. wwhat do you think?

I dont think either one minds, they actually think it will look nice, and then the dads will be in either platnum or navy blue vests and ties(not sure yet) Dont want toooo much color

If I am correct the only problem with same color is mom's get upset. So if they don't mind... Let them go for it! One less thing to worry about.

well, my colors are black and silver, and i asked both my mother and FMIL if they would mind wearing either color. my mom found a gorgeous black vera wang gown, and i'm hoping that FMIL will opt to wear silver. Cuz i got to co-ordinate!!

Originally- I asked both moms to look for choco brown-- and they both found variations of- my mom is in like a chestnut and black, and FMIL is in like mauve and brown.
As long as they are very different looking dresses- it should be fine.

As long as YOUR mom doesn't mind - My mom is a little annoyed FMIL is looking to wear black now (B/c my mom got a black gown and FMIL made a HUGE issue of how my mom had to choose her gown first so they didn't get the same color......)

IMO as long as both dont mind that they will be wearing the same color ...who cares... as long as it all fits into the colors of the wedding...
