OK, trying this on this board since no one on 08 responded...maybe someone out there has a suggestion.

Does anyone have any song suggestions for a mother son dance that aren't mushy lovey songs?

FH and his mom aren't really close, but he still wants to do the traditional thing and dance with her - so any ideas for music?

Can you help me understand this song? Who is singing these words, the mother to her son or the son to his mother?

This phrase doesn't make sense to me
But of all these friends and lovers
There is no one compares with you

I'm sorry when I hear this song, I would think it's a love song, not a mother/son song.

Is there a song w/ his name in it? For example, my DH's name is James, and his song w/ his mom was James Taylor's Sweet Baby James...that was cute.

such a good idea! I'm going to look into that...

FH is using 'Even Heroes have the Right to Bleed' by Five for Fighting... his mom always said that song reminded her of him because he was always was the sports superstar of the family and the strength for them...

so it's a bit unusual but it's perfect for them!
