My FH and I just closed on our co-op and are house hunting. Without telling us, my future mother in law cleared out Granny's apartment, for FH and I to move in and moved her upstairs with them. I know that she is just trying to make us happy and keep us together, but I still feel uncomfortable and gulity that my FH's 87 year old Grandma is displaced because of us....I don't know what to feel!!

Re: Moved in with the in-laws!
I understand feeling bad but don't think of her as displaced - you are family and know that deep down they will do whatever it takes to help you and FH out.
It's only temporary - and I am sure they are happy to help. That's what family is for - but that is kind of you to also see it from their POV. Shows that you are a good person and they know that - hence why they want to help.
